I used to live on a sheep farm in Australia. I hate sheep. They are nasty, smelly creatures who deseve to die - Sylvia included. *g* But seriously, this was twisted, guys. Great job (I think), Michael and Charlie.

Why are there so many haters? You don't have to watch the short movie if you don't want to.
I think it's quite hard to play such scenes, cause they're kinda crazy scenes, you certainly laugh during and after the scene and you ask yourself: Wth am i doing? lol
Michael Rosenbaum is such a great actor, so Michael, keep up the good work! You rock!

Posted by Lexalicious on Wednesday, 03.5.08 @ 15:02pm | #68

I think you found the definition of a 'huge massive floppy hit', smarty-pants:) ...Who is Silvia, what is she...It relates to nothing whatever, to nothing that can be related to...It isn't what romantic songs tell us it is-love simply is...no definitions... Also, be careful what you wish for - the shiny UFO just might bring her back:) BTW: What's her favourite movie:)?

Heh. The first time I watched it, I was like "that's dumb..." But then I watched it again and started to get some giggly moments "what's that? More chains?" hee. Lovely David Caruso "Say Line, Put On Sunglasses" moment at the beginning. "She's NOT... INTRESTED!" ha.

Posted by Pwuellerstorfi on Monday, 03.3.08 @ 18:04pm | #60

Wow, so... this is what to do when there's a writer's strike on. I teared up a little there... while I was laughing.

There's a lot worse things to be done, although doing a plastic sheep is pretty bad. I can see how coming to realize there is such a thing as a 'love ewe' might cause something like this. Disturbing, hilarious, faintly sick... so many descriptive words could be applied.

Suffice to say, I adore your over the top characters, and the flowers. The flowers in the front yard were looking very healthy.

Thanks for the crack!

Ugh! Sex with a sheep? That´s disgusting. Well, at least it´s a plastic one, right?

Living in a cattle raising country such as Argentina, I´ve heard of farmers resorting to this kinky sexual practice, so this vid doesn´t show anything out of this world. Oh, wait! There´s the UFO at the end. That was pretty hilarious.

Now, call me a prude if you will, but I still can´t believe there are people out there who get a kick out of having sex with a sheep.

That said-although I´m not fond of the subject of this short film, you were awesome, Michael. You always manage to surprise your fans with your extraordinary sense of humour.I bet you had a ball shooting this, but I´m still waiting for the perfect quality vehicle that´ll enable you to show your amazing talent as a comedian.

As much as I love your Lex Luthor, I understand your need to get away from his asphyxiating world, so I´ll take Shear Love for what it is- an exercise at having fun.

I wish you the very best in your post-Smallville career, Michael.Just as you´ve proved the entertainment community there was a lot more in you than the goofy comedian, I hope you´ll be offered the chance to prove once again you´re beyond typecasting.

Comedy is as much an art as drama, and maybe more difficult to do right. Keep laughing and making us laugh, but don´t give up drama entirely; it´d be a great loss for your career and your public.

Just one more word, be wise. I want to keep reading your name in the credits.

Big hugs from Argentina.

Posted by Guillermina R. on Sunday, 03.2.08 @ 12:45pm | #41

Suddenly, I wish I was a clothespin...

This was insane, but then I have come to expect that of Rosenbaum. What a fucking lunatic. It's good to see him "let his hair down" (and break free from the tight control of Lex Luthor) and demonstrate what a fabulous actor he is.

P.S. to Michael -- Saw the ink on the arms, dude, but didn't get a good enough look. What are they?

Posted by Tami on Sunday, 03.2.08 @ 11:44am | #40

It's refreshing to see a young filmmaker who's not afraid to tackle the heated post modern realities of runaway ovine love in a suburban setting without resorting to the cliché moodiness of Allen or the cloying tenderness of Albee. Brilliant! And sexy...

Well done, boyos.
